Connecting Gmail gives your agent the ability to put something in writing: the appointment confirmation, the quote it promised or the information the customer asked for during the call. It goes out from your own account, so the customer receives an email from your business and not from some unfamiliar address. It can also leave the email in drafts when the message needs a person to review it first.

What you need first

  • A Google account (personal or Google Workspace) that the emails should come from.
  • The Starter plan or higher in Ryvo, with the Engine module active.
  • On restricted Google Workspace domains, an administrator may have to allow the app before the authorization can complete.

How to connect it

1

Open Settings › Integrations

In the portal, go to Settings and then Integrations. Find the Gmail card.
2

Click Connect app

Google’s authorization screen opens in a new window. Meanwhile the card shows In progress.
3

Pick the account and accept the permissions

Select the account the emails should come from and accept.
4

Come back to Ryvo

You land back on the Integrations screen on your own and the card turns to Connected. Gmail asks nothing else.

What your agent can do once it is connected

Actions are turned on one by one from View actions and the Tools section of the builder, with a cap of 10 integration actions per agent.
If you would rather no email ever goes out without human review, turn on Save draft only and leave Send email off.
